Software Development Environments
Different Development Tools for Different Environments
Gallant Partners is constantly improving our current foothold in the industry, by keeping up-to-date on trends within the technological industry. We specialize in custom software development and applications built in .NET, PHP, ASP, JAVA, FLASH, HTML, MQL4, Pearl, Visual Basic, UNIX and Linux.
Most of our applications are web-based; which is advantageous to us and to our clients. Our web based solutions can be hosted on a local area network, or at our dedicated servers. By hosting applications, we are able to make modifications and upgrades easily, while providing our clients with an easy to access web-based platform that is managed 24/7 and safely backed-up. Here is a list of development languages we work with (Additional Content Management Applications):
Microsoft .NET Framework is a development and execution environment that allows different programming languages & libraries to work together seamlessly to create Windows-based applications that are easier to build, manage, deploy, and integrate with other networked systems.
Active Server Pages (ASP) is Microsoft's server-side script engine for dynamically-generated web pages. It is marketed as an add-on to Internet Information Services (IIS). Programming ASP websites is made easier by various built-in objects.
Java is a programming language originally developed by Sun Microsystems and released in 1995. Java applications are typically compiled to bytecode, although compilation to native machine code is also possible. At runtime, bytecode is usually either interpreted or compiled to native code for execution, although direct hardware execution of bytecode by a Java processor is also possible.
Perl is a dynamic programming language created by Larry Wall and first released in 1987. Perl borrows features from a variety of other languages including C, shell scripting (sh), AWK, sed and Lisp. Structurally, Perl is based on the brace-delimited block style of AWK and C, and was widely adopted for its strengths in string processing and lack of the arbitrary limitations of many scripting languages at the time.
PHP is a reflective programming language originally designed for producing dynamic web pages.PHP is used mainly in server-side scripting, but can be used from a command line interface or in standalone graphical applications. Textual User Interfaces can also be created using ncurses.
Python is a high-level programming language first released by Guido van Rossum in 1991. Python is designed around a philosophy which emphasizes readability and the importance of programmer effort over computer effort. Python is often characterized as minimalist, although this only applies to the core language's syntax and semantics; the standard library provides the language with a large number of additional libraries and extensions.
MATLAB is a numerical computing environment and programming language. Created by The MathWorks, MATLAB allows easy matrix manipulation, plotting of functions and data, implementation of algorithms, creation of user interfaces, and interfacing with programs in other languages. Although it specializes in numerical computing, an optional toolbox interfaces with the Maple symbolic engine, allowing it to be part of a full computer algebra system.
MetaQuotes Language 4 (MQL 4) is a new built-in language for programming trading strategies. This language allows the creation of your own Expert Advisors that render the trade process management automatic and are perfectly suitable for implementing your own trade strategies. You can create your own Custom Indicators, Scripts and Libraries of functions with the help of MQL 4, as well.
